My first proper game and a high school graduation project. Spaceships is a real-time strategy game where players control a fleet of combat spacecraft in a battle against an AI opponent. Navigate through an asteroid-filled battlefield, manage your fleet composition, and destroy the enemy mothership to claim victory. With an adaptive AI, customizable fleets, and moddable spaceship stats, the game offers a dynamic and strategic space combat experience.

Spaceships is a fast-paced real-time strategy (RTS) game where you take command of a fleet of strike crafts and battle against an adaptive AI opponent. Navigate through a hazardous asteroid field, strategize your fleet composition, and engage in dynamic space combat to destroy the enemy mothership.

Gameplay Overview

As the commander of a fleet, your ships launch from a powerful mothership carrier. Your mission is to destroy the enemy mothership while maneuvering through a randomly generated asteroid field. Each spacecraft has unique strengths and weaknesses, making fleet composition and tactical positioning crucial. Choose your engagements wisely—outsmarting your opponent is key to victory!

What I learned

This was my first proper try at developing a game. I always wanted to try creating my own game, and graduation project was the perfect reason (and motivation) to finally get to it.

Purpose

This project has been created as a high school graduation project at SPŠ Purkyňova.
